Today was an excellent day for us. We were at the Parrot Coffee Grocery – New York with many customers different ages but all happy and satisfy from the taste of the homemade ajvar Perustija.
Susan surprised her family with grilled chicken legs spiced with the best ajvar – Perustija.
„I love Middle Eastern food, especially the countless vegetarian spreads, dips and salads beyond the everyone-knows hummus. Ajvar, in particular made with grilled pepper, eggplants, garlic and red pepper spice is one of my favorites! Ajvar is the Turkish word for fish roe or caviar.
This beautiful chunky red relish is so versatile as a bread spread or served along meats especially grilled. A hostess play-date gift I had received, I busted the jar opened this weekend to serve along grilled chicken at my home’s casual family gathering. It reminded me of the ajvar I use to make from scratch entertaining way back sans kids and it was always a hit!“ – says Susan
Susan recommended AJVAR PERUSTIJA: You can put ajvar in pretty much anything – sauces, breads, dressings, on pasta, in sandwiches, pizza etc. Before serving finely dice or grate some garlic, add a splash of extra virgin olive oil, chopped herbs like parsley or basil and serve alongside grilled or roasted meat (it’s AMAZING with poultry) or with antipasta/tapas.
We are happy that we were part of the food fair in Paris – SIAL which is probably the largest and most visited food exhibition and an opportunity to break into a number of new markets. With 7000 exhibitors from 104 countries and thousands of guests, the benefits of being present at the exhibition are numerous.
Our team is very pleased with the attendance and the positive reaction of visitors. Perustija products once again shine with their looks and of course with quality and taste which they owns.

The word „MAKALO“ in translation means creamy garlic. Although simple, this very interesting product is much more than that. It is said that the original garlic cream comes from an Ohrid recipe and represent true youth elixir. This tasty, healthy and rich spread is made for true lovers of the aromatic taste of the garlic

This year, for the first time, we attended the International fair for Agriculture as a single exhibitor and we returned with wonderful impressions.
We promoted the entire production program containing our new homemade brand, the Perustija Ajvar that got the well-deserved attraction on the fair.
Our enormous attendance and lovely atmosphere at the stand was immediately noticed and distinguished.
The visitors were leaving our stand with a lot of marketing materials, information, smiley faces and full tummies.
“The most colorful and the most visited“, “All natural and fresh products” were just a part of the comments of the visitors who always returned to the stand to try the different tastes of our products.
Our goal was accomplished! Receiving visitor’s compliments and seeing their satisfaction made us very happy and gave us the incentive to be the best.
